Inverted Circus Movement CIC is:
Circus Classes for Kids
We offer weekly circus classes to kids aged 3+ years old. Our young students learn aerial hammock, aerial hoop, aerial silks, aerial yoga, pole fitness, and trapeze. They also perform for their families at our in-house showcases, and as of age 15+, they can apply to our Youth Shadow Instructor programme.

Circus Shows
As an amateur production company, we write, cast, choreograph, and produce family-friendly circus shows. Our biggest production to date is “Inverted Wonderland”, a circus retelling of “Alice In Wonderland” which received powerful reviews.

Inclusive Circus Projects
Our mission is to create accessible and inclusive circus projects for people of all ages, who are curious to try out a circus class. We collaborate with Aberdeen-based charities and organisations, creating projects that offer accessible classes for children and adults with neurodivergence and/or additional support needs.

Who We Are
“Inverted Circus Movement CIC” was founded by Elsie Liontou, Theo Robertson and Ritti Soncco in July 2025 and is based in Aberdeen, Scotland. As a community-interest company, Inverted CIC is the sister school of “Inverted: Circus and Pole Fitness LTD”, a circus and pole studio for adults founded in May 20215.
Inverted CIC was created for three reasons:
We want to teach circus and pole classes to kids in a safe, joyful, and non-competitive environment.
We want to boost local talent and further the arts in North-East Scotland by producing circus shows that are unique and family-friendly.
We want to offer inclusive and accessible circus classes to adult and children with neurodivergence and Additional Support Needs.
